What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic and healing application of hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a natural and safe method to achieve powerful change in your life and in your health. Hypnotherapy applies the tremendously useful tool of hypnosis to bring about the improvements you desire. Hypnotherapy is not hypnosis for entertainment.
Hypnotherapy relaxes your mind and body. This relaxation frees up your unique inner resources to focus on the changes and improvements that are important to you.
Hypnotherapy is rapidly becoming recognized as a fast and effective therapy with broad applications in the health and wellness world.
The American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association have approved Hypnotherapy for use by professionally qualified and responsible individuals. Hypnosis has been sanctioned and used by the medical community since 1958 to help patients overcome chronic pain, create anesthesia and heal psychogenic illness.

How Does Hypnotherapy Work? |
Hypnotherapy is one the fastest, most effective and most permanent forms of therapy. And, it is therefore an efficient and economically attractive form of therapy. Hypnotherapy works so well because we will fully employ the power of your mind and desires to create lasting results.
Hypnotherapy can be utilized as a stand-alone therapy, or as a complement to conventional medicine and other therapies and healing modalities.
As your hypnotherapist, I will use a combination of relaxation and focus to bring about a deep state of hypnosis. I will assist you in accessing your subconscious mind. All you need is a willingness to engage in the hypnotherapeutic process and a desire to reach your goals - and then you just relax!
When you are in the very relaxed trance state of hypnosis, you will have easy access to your subconscious mind and all the powerful functions it performs:

What does hypnosis feel like? |
Hypnosis is absolutely safe, and it is a very pleasant experience. In the deeply relaxed state of hypnosis, your attention becomes highly focused and your mind becomes more receptive to positive ideas. It is your time to take care of yourself, so you let go of outside stressors and focus on the issues and changes that you want to work on.
During hypnosis, you are always in complete control, and you choose what you want to say or do. You choose your own level of participation and revelation, and you do only things you want to do. You always act according to your values and behave within your moral code. Hypnosis is not brainwashing.
You are never unconsciousness or "knocked out" in hypnosis. You are very aware, with a high level of brain activity, while your body is deeply and pleasantly relaxed. You remain aware of your surroundings and you can always see, hear, and move.

What will I feel like when I come out of hypnosis? |

Can I be hypnotized? |
| Yes, of course! Anyone who wants to be hypnotized can be hypnotized. All you need is a desire to be hypnotized and willingness to follow my instructions, and then you too can experience the benefits of hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
The depth of hypnosis varies from person to person and from session to session. With practice, your hypnosis will become even deeper and more rewarding.
